New Header Design for Medline.com
January 10, 2023Starting Friday, January 6, users will see a new header design on Medline.com that offers a simplified account menu and cleaner global navigation elements that are optimized for accessibility. The design is also responsive, meaning that it can adapt and deliver the best experience to users, whether they’re on their desktop, laptop, tablet, or smartphone.
This new design is one step of many that the eCommerce team is taking to build a fully responsive and seamless digital experience, which is critical to the business as more of our customers are using tablets or smartphones to transact with Medline. For this release, the new header is visible to desktop users, but not yet fully available to logged in mobile users. Those on mobile devices will see the new header when they first land on Medline.com; however, once they log in, they will see the current mobile header experience.
New header features:
- Login/Register and location flag buttons have a new design that is optimized for all devices
- Account login screen is now a slide-out menu on the right side of the page for faster access
- Logged-in customers will see the notifications menu, account menu and customer information, including name, account name, and account number.
