Project spotlight

Elevating wound care
in low-resource settings

Over 400 million people worldwide have wounds, and not all clinicians have access to wound care education.

Building upon an in-person wound care training series led by Medline and Nurses Specialized in Wound, Ostomy and Continence Canada (NSWOCC) in Argentina, Medline volunteers created an online series of chronic wound care courses to empower clinicians in low-resource settings.

Available free of charge on Medline University in both English and Spanish, the course series helps clinicians around the world increase their knowledge in chronic wound care, a global health epidemic that to this day is not a specialty in much of the world.
